An exciting proposal on the Tchefuncte River

I was so excited to recently get the message that Rachel was getting engaged! I had the pleasure of shooting a group senior session last spring with Rachel and four of her amazing friends, for their master degrees in Speech Pathology. They were SUCH a fun to group to work with, and I was so honored to learn that she wanted me to capture her proposal when the time came!

I love that Matthew came in with a plan - all we had to do was pick the best spot for lighting ahead of time! He started off with having her read a letter he wrote for their anniversary and ended down on one knee. After crouching behind a few different cars to not be seen, I got to pop out and see all of the excitement unfold. You have to see her adorable reaction!

We finished our time together taking some '“just engaged” photos by the water. Congratulations Rachel and Matthew! Let the wedding planning, begin!
